Kids Fishing Program
Our guides specialize in teaching children the joy of fishing. We provide kid-sized rods, easy-to-use tackle, and patient instruction. Most kids catch their first fish within 30 minutes.
Wildlife Watching Tours
Guided boat tours to spot bald eagles, loons, beavers, deer, and if you are lucky, black bears along the shoreline. Bring binoculars and a camera for unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Scenic Boat Cruises
Explore the stunning islands and bays of Lake of the Woods. Our guides share stories about the history and ecology of the area while you soak in the breathtaking scenery.
Campfire Evenings

Our sandy beach area provides safe, shallow swimming for kids. The water warms up nicely by July, and there is plenty of space for building sandcastles and playing beach games.
Berry Picking
In late summer, wild blueberries and raspberries are abundant near the lodge. We provide buckets and show you the best picking spots. Make it a competition and see who fills their bucket first.
Canoeing & Kayaking
Explore quiet bays and inlets at your own pace with our complimentary canoes and kayaks. Calm morning paddles are a magical way to start the day and observe wildlife up close.
Kids Fish Free

We believe the future of outdoor traditions depends on passing them down. That is why kids 16 and under fish for free when accompanied by two paying adults. Our guides have endless patience and know how to make fishing fun for young anglers.
We provide kid-sized rods, easy-to-use tackle, and life jackets sized for children. Most kids catch their first fish within 30 minutes — and those smiles are more rewarding than any trophy walleye.
Beyond fishing, kids can explore nature trails, swim at our sandy beach, paddle canoes, and learn about wildlife from our guides. It is screen-free, nature-filled fun that creates memories lasting a lifetime.
